I. GOLDEN BAKLAVA FILM FESTIVAL
1st Golden Baklava Film Festival brought film and movie-lovers together for the first time in year 2015. On the very first day of the 1st Golden Baklava Film Festival, which made itself clearly heard every year that it was organized as of the date that it was first organized; it entertained Director Ali Taner Baltacı and Actresses Büşra Pekin, Aydan Taş and İdil Dizdar. Attracting great deal of attention, the festival entertained its new guests who are also famous stars and among which Actor Mehmet Aslantuğ, Actress Ceyda Düvenci, Melisa Sözen, Actor Erkan Kolçak Kostendil and Director İlksen Başarır were found on its second day.
On the night in which many films competed in two categories only six were deemed worthy of awarding. Following are those films awarded;
IN THE DOCUMENTARY CATEGORY
Best Documentary Film Award went to the film called ‘KORO’ (CHOIR) directed by Ahmet Bikiç.
The 2nd Best Documentary Film Award went to the film called “ALTIN KIZLAR” (GOLDEN GIRLS) directed by Said Tuğcu.
The 3rd Best Documentary Film Award went to the film called “ÇEKÇEK” directed by HarunÇavuş.
IN THE FICTION CATEGORY
The Best Fiction Film Award went to the film called “KAHVE” (COFFEE) directed by Onur Ertekin.
The 2nd Best Fiction Film Award went to the film called “NAR ZAMANI” (POMEGRANATE TIME) directed by Cevahir Çokbilir.
The 3rd Best Fiction Film Award went to the film called “EKMEK” (BREAD) directed by Batıkan Karabacak.
